Best Babies Day
Pregnancy until 6 months post-partum
Tuesdays 11:00am-2:00pm
Our Best Babies Day begins with a support and information group for parents of babies under 6 months old. We cover a variety of topics in a relaxed and fun environment. Some of the topics include, infant feeding, crying, nutrition, health, relationships, self-care, infant development, car seats, etc.
Lunch is offered after the group between 11:30 and 12:30. There is a public health nurse, nutritionist and outreach worker available.
At 12:30 our prenatal group begins. We cover a variety of topics around pre and post-natal care, plus you'll get an opportunity to meet other pregnant women!

Q: What is a Nurse Practitioner?
A: Hope is a nurse with advanced training, enabling her to provide a greater ranger of health care services to families and individuals of all ages.
Q: What services can Hope offer my family?
A: Hope can provide many of the services a GP can, from diagnosing and suggesting treatment for many illnesses or conditions, ordering and interpreting tests, and referring to specialists if needed.
Q: How can I access Hope's services?
A: Hope is available Tuesdays at Saanich Neighbourhood Place, 10am till 2pm. You don't need an appointment, and you don't need to have MSP coverage to consult her.
Q: Who can see Hope?
A: Everyone! Women, kids, men, just drop in and put your name on Hope's list. She will find you when your turn comes!
Baby Talk (A VIHA program)
Tuesdays 2:00-3:30 p.m.
Baby Talk is a postpartum group facilitated by a Public Health Nurse that provides infant and maternal health and wellness education. Baby Talk is a drop-in group and topics pertain mostly to new parents of infants under 9 months. Phone 519-5100 for topics or other information.
