Bridges for Women
Bridges is a gutsy, innovative community agency. Our employment training and supportive programs inspire women impacted by violence or abuse, to reclaim their lives and build economic security. Bridges draws on its extensive knowledge of the impacts of abuse on employability, to provide education, training and consulting to community agencies, employers, and government.
This is your one-stop “shopping” website for planning your kids’ activities year round. We list over 5000 actvities, camps, lesson and programs for children ages 3 to 16. For more, check out their website.

Gorge Tillicum Urban Farmers
Gorge Tillicum Urban Farmers is a community of people who live or work in the Gorge Tillicum neighbourhood.
We share information about food production and support each other to produce more food locally. We connect through food growing meetings, garden tours, email contact, etc. We promote food security. We welcome diversity in our membership and in the functioning of GTUF.
The F.O.R.C.E. Society for Kids Mental Health is a provincial organization that provides families with an opportunity to speak with other families who understand and may be able to offer support or advice on what has worked for them. The F.O.R.C.E. also provides families and professionals with information, tools, and tips on how to support and assist children with mental health difficulties.
The FORCE mandate is to support and empower families and work collaboratively with professionals and systems in understanding and meeting the mental health needs of families.
Kids in Victoria
Kids In Victoria (KIV) is a local, online community for moms and dads. KIV fosters relationships between parents in your real-life community, and helps you connect and share with these other, often busy parents.
KidStart is an award winning, CARF accredited (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) Prevention and Diversion program for kids age 6+ that provides carefully screened and selected adult volunteers to mentor or “coach” vulnerable children and youth.
